This is a smaller sized painting, about 600 x 500 mm. Painted directly from a collected nest. I had been asked by a prospective client to do a painting of this size and I will show him sometime next week. Any visitors to my blog site, I would be really pleased to hear your comments or questions you may have regarding my work. (Is there anyone out there?)

Hi Roger, I'm a friend of Norma Foster who emailed me your link because I am an artist. I love your nests - they are appealing on so many levels. Not only because of the beautiful painting, but I think we are drawn to cosy spaces like these. A nest with an egg inside tells a story doesn't it? I love that some of them are big - seeing you standing next to one and getting an idea of the size is a surprise. All the best with your work, Anne. PS I love life drawing too!
